Health Department Announces Iroquois County Fair Winners

The Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department has announced the names of the winners of the drawing offered at the Iroquois County Fair.  Cheryl Wessels of Watseka is the winner of the basket sponsored by the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program.  Anna Kaeb of  Cissna Park has won the sno cone machine and those winning portable lawn chairs include:  Gayle Schuldt of Martinton, Sara Boatman of Watseka, Sandi Gray of Ashkum, Kara Nims of Onarga and Delores Gullquist of Milford.  Cathy McEwen, Schools and Community Health Coordinator said she was pleased with the number of fairgoers who visited the health department booth and received information on numerous health related topics.  “The Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department services are available to all individuals who reside in Ford and Iroquois counties,” she said.  “The fair gives us the opportunity to visit with many of our local residents and helps us understand the needs of our communities.   We hope that the information distributed at the fair will benefit the recipient and help them attain a better health status.”
