Watseka, IL - An anxiously awaited letter was received by the Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department this past week.   The letter contained information regarding the results of an extensive review of the agency and its services by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP).

A multi-state outbreak of infections is being investigated by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and local health departments. 

Laboratory Reports Not Conclusive on Students Death

According to Doug Corbett, Public Health Administrator, the laboratory results received from the Director of Pathology, Dr. I.L. Uzoara at Carle Foundation Hospital Laboratory are inconclusive as to the cause of death.
