Caregiver Advisory Services
The Caregiver Advisory program works to provide information, assistance and support to caregivers who care for individuals 60 years of age or older. The Caregiver Advisor will work with the caregiver to identify specific needs of the family, schedule home visits and inform clients of available services and options. A Caregiver Support group is also hosted by the agency. Periodic Caregiver educational workshops and trainings are also sponsored by the Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department. The Caregiver Advisor will assist the caregiver to obtain respite services during the support group meetings and trainings.
