FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Health Department Web Page Dedicated to Swine Flu
The Illinois Department of Public Health has developed a web page that is dedicated to addressing various areas of the Swine Flu. According to Julie Clark, Public Information Officer, for the Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department, the page covers categories that are specific to various population groups. “The web site provides information specific to travel, day care providers, the media, businesses, schools, emergency responders, and health care providers,” said Clark. “Additionally, persons visiting the page are able to view a category dealing with frequently asked questions. Information is available to the public in Spanish and there is a link for other languages as well.” According to Clark, the page is updated on a daily basis. Individuals may visit the web site at: http://www.idph.state.il.us/swine_flu/index.htm.
